Located in the heart of Los Angeles' historic Melrose shopping district, Melrose Umbrella Co. brings the age old speakeasy cocktail experience back to its basics. A place where chivalry is alive and well: a place where you are welcomed as a neighbor in an atmosphere that feels like home.

The Melrose Umbrella Co. logo is crafted from the silhouette of James Melrose, the former Lord Mayor of York, England in the late 1800’s and ancestor of bar owner Austin Melrose. Additionally we created a secondary mark which features an umbrella and raindrops falling from inside of it. This was a prominent symbol from the post prohibition era representing the promise of “many wet days to come”.
